On Sunday June 29 Pastor McHoyt Moore went to Heaven. He was one of my spiritual heroes. Pastor Moore pastored Old Suwannee Baptist Church of Buford, Georgia for 41 years. He would often asked me to preach when I was a college student and would go to Atlanta to visit Jenny before we were married. He married Jenny and me on June 29, 1996 (twelve years ago to the day that he died). He also was my choice to preach the charge at my ordination service. Preacher Moore certainly will be missed by our family.

A Hero Went To Heaven
